Alkeiya is inspired by music: as a child dancing to Tchaikovsky in her living room & watching her dad practise the piano; grooving & jamming in her twenties; bringing children & others into singing & music-making in her 30s & 40s; making music with individuals and groups as a Registered Music Therapist in her 50s ; & as a TaKeTiNa teacher in her 60s.

Based in Tasmania, Alkeiya continues to enjoy the ride through life inviting members in local communities to take part in music-making, using various frameworks including well known songs & TaKeTiNa.
